About Mari
Mari Johnson's eye for design is the product of more than 35 years of retail experience and the endless well of creativity that comes from global travel. Mari is known for her French finds—art and handcrafted furniture sourced on more than 30 trips to Paris and surrounding villages. She is heavily influenced by the joie de vivre of the French, as well as the culture and scenes she's encountered in Asia, from small fishing villages to coastal enclaves. Mari has worked on design projects of varying scale and style in the years since opening Back Home, and she still finds herself excited by the challenge of curating a space that inspires.
